October 1st, 2016
  • Hello!  We have been working a lot in our hometowns Ghent & Vilnius, travelling a bit less. Elze is working intensely on a theatre/dance production (premièring January 2017) while continuing to be an inspiration to the local dancecommunity at Hoppers' danceschool and Vilnius. Also, you may have seen her work with the talented Peter Kertz along the way, teaching around Europe in the last year. Joris has been focussing a lot on starting new projects at Crazy Legs danceschool like the Gentlemen's Chorusline, a Ghent based 14 piece performance team that changes members & performance every 6 months. It's a success project that is much inspired by the early choruslines from the screen and theatre. Apart from that, he has been playing a lot of trombone, premièring his own band in 2017.  Next to all these exciting things, we will keep on appearing on workshops, with few lined up in the new year! Please keep a look out on our page and try to catch us somewhere, we love that !

  • The last day of 2015 and tomorrow is a new day! We wish you a great swinging year ahead, follow your dreams and shine on, everybody!  We hope to meet you on one of our future travels :) Keep an eye on the calendar y'all !

  • Autumn is here, but the dancing keeps us warm. This autumn you can meet us at the following events:
-ESDC - we will be competing at European Swing Dance Championships in London, October 15-18. 
-Elze teaching at Wonder Followers Weekend in Paris, October 23-25.
-Lindyshock - we will be teaching and swinging on the boats in Budapest, October 28 - November 1. 
-Joris teaching at Cirque du Solo workshop in Berlin, November 12-15. 
-Dragon Swing - we're teaching in our beloved festival in Krakow, Poland, November 18-22. 

          We're excited to dance, teach, meet, inspire and get inspired! 


 September 1st, 2015

  • Hellow!  The rather adventurous summer is running out, and regular classes start soon and we are getting excited for our local swing dance communities in both our cities Vilnius & Ghent. The Autumn and Spring time calendar of 2015/2016 is getting filled up with some sweet sweet workshops and projects. Check our calendar in the next few weeks through September to see where we will be! A brief update you can find already right now, in Calendar.


 April 30th, 2015
  • April has been very moving, with Joris teaching an Easter Jazz workshop & teacherstraining at the SwingShoes school downtown Copenhagen. Next up, we were at the Gentse Hoppers Exchange performing our School Days performance on the Friday Cabaret with many other great local performers, waw what an event GHX is! So much live music we have never witnessed on one weekend, even one night without DJ's and only live music: 3 bands playing non-stop for 6 hrs!  The week after we went to Manning Mania, pleasantly, teaching with a very young, upcoming board of International teachers, and flourishing the city of Antwerp, Belgium! Time goes by and 5 days later we found ourselves at Tallinn Swing Weekend, in Estonia, where we met a very young enthousiast and super friendly swing community so eager to learn and grow that we got back with a full bag of inspiration! Thanks everybody!

  • A swinging weekend in Harbour Hop in Rotterdam! We taught some Lindy Hop and solo classes and we got to make a performance together with the amazing Ron and Sharon - here it is!
  • Swing Train festival in Torino, Italy was a blast! Great energy in classes and parties, music, venues.. Dusty Jazz did a great job organising this event. Here are some videos from the weekend: Teachers' Intro and our solo jazz performance 'Lulu's back in town'.

  • Last night we had the humble fortune to perform at de Casino in St. Niklaas, what a beautiful ballroom, packed with people, Nomad Swing playing, great vinyl on the desks & midnight Burlesque!

 November, 2014

  • Dragon Swing is over and we came back with big smiles and warm memories! We taught 4 days of classes with about 300 amazing, eager to learn students. We shared the teacher line up with some amazing teachers, with some of them we created a little routine together: Lithuanian Gangsters feat. Groovy Brothers.
  • Joris is back from a great weekend of Cirque du Solo in Berlin! He had a great time teaching students a sweet choreography, performing it at the cabaret and being the MC of the cabaret together with Mad Oli. Also, check out this amazing teachers presentation where they all sing and dance alongside to Shirt Tail Stompers.  
  • We got Lindy Shocked in Budapest! We had an amazing time teaching some classes, sharing our  ideas with students who were eager to learn. We got to take part in competitions that brought us some results, we won 1st place in Strictly competition and Elze got 2nd in Advanced JnJ! 

 Oktober, 2014
  • We just returned from Copenhagen, where we had the fortune to teach at Copenhagen Swing Challenge, a fun, cosy workshop that hosted us, Martin & Minou & Steven Mitchell (+ the Hot Swing Sextet)! We had a wonderfull time sharing our dance and vibes with all of you! We also had an opportunity to teach an introduction course at the Commedia School, a fysical theatre school where Joris had his education many years ago. To round it off we had the chance to give some local classes at Swingshoes swingdance school downtown Copenhagen! It was so nice to see what's living locally; Thank you Sanne, Ole, Kuno, Gosia & Per for the opportunities!

  • We're back from our trip to USA! It was a truly inspiring trip! We got to participate in ILHC, where we presented our new routine and we got to perform it in Classic Finals. We participated in Advanced Strictly division and got 2nd. Next stop was Camp Hollywood in Los Angeles, we got 2nd both in Amateur Lindy and Classic Lindy divisions and in the JnJ competition Joris got 2nd and Elze got 1st place! We got to meet many great dancers, teachers, performers and now we're recharged for the new season of DANCING!

  • We will be teaching, inspiring and getting inspired in Lindy Shock in October, 2014. Looking forward!

  • Joris just got back from a two weeks dance tour! He taught taster classes with Helena Verheyen in Swingin' Spring in Gothenburg, Sweden, a weekend later, him and Amani Said taught in The Mooche festival, in Cork, Ireland where they shared their knowledge and experience on creativity and performing.

  • A weekend in Smokey Feet has been a blast! We had lovely time teaching the taster classes and sharing our ideas with students. Joris and Moe's did their great choreography, Elze got 1st place in JnJ with Tadas and We got to shake our legs in strictly finals!

  • Joris has moved to Vilnius! We are teaching some Lindy Hop classes and Joris will be teaching the Authentic Jazz classes at Hoppers' dance studio. Vilnius, hold on!

February, 2014

  • 10 years of Lindy Hop at Lindyhop.lt, Vilnius, and they had a very good reason to celebrate! A weekend full of performances old and new, all Lithuanian swing music, annnd offcourse, contests! Elze cartwheeled herself into split to take first place in the Solo Jazz competition, whereas Joris took 1st place with Arnas in the Invitational Jack and Jill, this time both as follow and lead!

  • Happy New Year everybody!
  • Look at this amazing display of Lindy Hop, Elze is coming in together with Dmitrij, 4th couple at the Pro/Am Strictly competition in Vilnius, at Competition Nite*2, organized by Hoppers' Dance Studio. Can't stop the Lindy Hop!

  • It was the Christmas party in Vilnius, some elfs from Hoppers' studio made a performance there.
  • Joris takes 1st place at the Jack 'n Jill contest @ Crazy Swing Camp in Brussels! What a crazy one that was!
  • December 6 - 8 there's a Crazy Swing Camp happening in Belgium, Joris is giving some classes there with Bara Hrebackova from Czech Republic. 

November, 2013
  • November 30 - Lindy Hop Classic Couples Contest in Vilnius organised by Hoppers' dance studio. There will be 17 couples that have been working on their classic lindy hop routines!
  • We're back from Dragon Swing festival in Krakow. Highlights of the festival: party in the Wieliczka Salt mine (yes, we were swinging few hundred meters under the ground!), Joris was shaking and breaking with his Solo Jazz classes, we took 3rd place in Strictly contest, Elze - 2nd place in Solo Charleston competition. 

 October, 2013
  • October 11 we had a great workshop in Kaunas, Lithuania: great students, cosy party, performances, beginners' JnJ.. What an energy!
  • October 5 was party time in Tamsta club in Vilnius. Joris performed an awesome routine 'Five Guys Named Moe'. Also, Elze won 2nd place in JnJ contest, this time as a leader:)

September, 2013

  • Joris started teaching Authentic Jazz at Lindyhop.lt school in Vilnius until mid October. What an exciting time!
  • Elze just started teaching at Hoppers' Dance Studio (Vilnius, Lithuania), yay! Check it out!
  • Last summer weekend in Lithuania was Bluesila weekend. Elze took 3rd place in Blues JnJ!
  • We will make the party happen in Kaunas, on Friday 11 october!
